Meaning: Decayed and having an unpleasant smell and very unpleasant or unattractive.
Example:

Example:

Meaning: Death or dying and the end of something that was previously considered to be powerful, such as a business, industry or system.
Example:
i) When a persons brain stops working and they need machines in order to stay alive.
ii) The demise of the company was sudden and unexpected.
Enthusiastic
Meaning: Excited, interested and enthusiastic.
Example:
i) Aflame with desire, he took in his arms.
ii) You don't seem very enthusiastic about the party, don't you want to go tonight?
Embraced
Meaning: To include something, often as one of a number of thing and to accept something enthusiastically.
Example:
i) Linguistics embraces a diverse range of subject such as phonetics and stylistic.
ii) This was an opportunity that he would embrace.
Stretch
Meaning: To go as far as or beyond the usual limit of something.
Example:
i) Many families' budgets are already stretched to breaking point.
ii) This movie really stretches the patience of the audience to the limit.
